Combining text in Excel can be very useful in many situation. John has customer spend data for his company. He is looking forward to combine first name and last narme to create full name column. For example the the first cell in I5 should contain “Anallise Ellerman” which is made by combining First Name “Anallise” and Last name “Ellerman”.
Combine texts with Concat function to Lower Case
- Step 1: In Concat function the cell containing texts that needs concatenation are added one after the another. Text 1 a comma text 2 another comma and so on. We will add an space between the two text E5 and F5, ” “. This will make Full Name properly formatted with a space inbetween.
=CONCAT(E5," ",F5)
