Working with Data columns in Excel is many a times a necessity. There are various data tables that contains one or more date columns. There can be a need to work with the date column to do various calculations. One need can be to find the Minute value from datetime. John has customer spend data for his company. The data has registration date and time. He is looking forward to find the minute value from the registration date and time.
Minute function in Excel
- Step 1: Minute functions requires only one parameter, that is the cell containing date time value. Here Registration Date is present in Column J5 so the syntax will be:
=MINUTE(J5)
- Step 2: Copy the cell K5 and paste the formulas to rest of the cells in the column. This will generate updated Registration Minute column for whole table.
